Founded in 2011, LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes (LA Plaza) is an admission-free, Smithsonian-affiliated, Los Angeles County museum and cultural center that is mission-directed to honor the past, inspire the future, and recognize the enduring cultural influences of Mexicans, Mexican Americans and all Latinas/os in the founding and continuing evolution of Southern California through compelling and culturally enriching exhibitions, educational initiatives, and public programs.
